Where alumni actually go. Earning ranges below reflect Florida market data — not an MSI guarantee — and require the additional experience or credentials called out on each rung.

THE THINGS A PAYCHECK DOESN'T CAPTURE

Flexibility

Set your own hours, commission, or house-calls.

Independence

A path to your own suite or your own clinic.

Portability

A state license and a skill that travels with you.

Earnings figures reflect published Florida wage data for licensed skincare specialists, not an MSI-specific earnings promise.

THE ON-RAMP

TRANSPARENT PROGRAM COST

Everything you pay, listed line by line.

Most schools quote you a tuition number and add fees as you go. At MSI you see all of it on day one. Below is every dollar that leaves your account between enrollment and graduation.

ItemAmount
Registration$100
Tuition$5,000
Books & Kit$900
Total program cost$6,000

Things we do not charge for:

Wi-Fi, lab supplies during practicals, parking, exam review, certificate printing, transcript requests for one year after graduation, alumni continuing-ed access for 12 months.

Note (as of today): The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) charges a separate $75 license application fee paid directly to the state when you apply for your registration. This is not collected by MSI. DBPR can change licensing fees without notice.

For six thousand dollars, you receive:

220 hours of state-approved curriculum

Every minute documented for FL DBPR licensure.

Hands-on lab work from week one

Not week eight.

Live clinic floor experience

Live models.

Personal kit you keep

Mannequin head, tools, scrubs, study materials.

One-on-one instructor review at three milestones

Early check-in, midpoint review, pre-graduation evaluation.

No state exam required

Florida registers Facial Specialists with the DBPR on completion of the 220-hour program.

One-year alumni continuing-ed access

Included, not upsold.

Career placement support

Résumé clinic, mock interviews, intro list to 40+ Florida med-spas hiring entry-level.

Lifetime transcripts

Pulled in 48 hours by emailing registrar@msi.institute.

Founders-level alumni community

Slack, in-person mixers, jobs board.

Compare this list, item by item, against any other Florida school. We invite the comparison. The same $6,000 covers the 220-hour facial specialist program for career changers and advanced esthetician tracks for FL-licensed facial specialists.

Tuition, answered.

Yes, on a prorated basis through week 4 of the program, per Florida DBPR refund schedule and our enrollment agreement. The $100 registration fee is non-refundable. See full refund policy in your enrollment agreement and at /refund-policy.

No. The Florida DBPR license application fee is $75 as of today, paid directly to the state when you apply for your registration. We don't mark it up and we don't collect it. DBPR can change licensing fees without notice.

First missed payment: friendly text reminder, no fee. Second consecutive missed payment: a one-time $25 late fee and a call from our financial aid coordinator to re-work the schedule. We don't believe in late fees stacked on top of late fees — life happens.

Not at this time. As a 220-hour specialty program, MSI is not currently a Title IV–eligible institution. We chose to keep tuition low rather than carry the compliance cost of Title IV. Most students find the in-house plan more flexible than federal aid anyway.

Yes. We invoice employers directly — common with Florida med-spas sponsoring promising estheticians for advanced licensure. We provide a W-9, a partnership agreement, and progress reports if your employer wants them.

The kit is yours, day one, included. Some students choose to buy additional brushes, a personal magnifying lamp, or upgrade their scrubs — none of that is required to pass.

If you complete within your enrolled cohort window, no. If you need to drop and re-enroll in a future cohort due to a life event, we re-rate at the then-current tuition (typically a $200–$400 difference). We always honor your previously-paid hours.

Yes. We offer up to a 90-day pause once during the program — no interest accrues. Just email financial-aid@msi.institute. We've all been there.

A NOTE FROM DR. ARVIV

Real schools tell you the price. Real schools mean it.

I have built three clinics in South Florida and trained over two hundred aesthetic professionals. The single thing that separates the careers that flourish from the careers that stall is whether the school told the truth about money on day one.

At MSI, the number is six thousand dollars. The In-House Plan exists because most of my best students were single parents, second-career adults, or recent immigrants. None of them had ten thousand dollars sitting in an account. They had ambition, hands, and a willingness to show up.

If that's you — apply. We'll figure out the money together. We always have.
