Refund Policy

Last updated June 30, 2026

This policy describes when and how tuition is refundable for programs at MedSpa Institute. It applies to all licensed programs and is designed to comply with the rules of the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE). If your Enrollment Agreement and this policy disagree, the Enrollment Agreement controls.

01Three-Day Cancellation

All monies paid are refunded in full if the student withdraws within three (3) working days after signing the Enrollment Agreement. (This includes the registration fee within this window.)

02Cancellation After Three Days, Before the First Day of Class

Withdrawals after three (3) working days of signing but before the first day of class result in a full refund of all monies paid, MINUS the non-refundable registration fee and the fees for books, supplies, and materials.

03Withdrawal After Classes Begin

  • After attendance has begun, through 40% completion of the program: a pro-rated refund computed on the number of clock hours completed relative to the total program hours.
  • After completing more than 40% of the program: no refund.

The refund is calculated as follows: the total program cost (minus the registration fee and the fees for books, supplies, and materials) is multiplied by the percentage of program completion (total program hours divided by the number of hours scheduled); that amount is then deducted from the total program cost to determine the refund.

The termination date used to calculate a refund is the last date of actual attendance by the student; the last day of attendance if the student provides written notice to the school; or the date the school determines the student has withdrawn or is terminated.

04Rejection of Application

All monies paid are refunded in full if the school does not accept the applicant.

05Program or Course Cancellation by the School

If the school cancels a program or course, or changes its curriculum, while a student has a signed Enrollment Agreement, the school will do one of the following: (a) on program modification, complete the student's training at no additional cost beyond the original Enrollment Agreement; or (b) if a course is canceled, refund all monies paid by the student.

06How to Request a Refund / Withdraw

Withdrawals must be made in person or by certified mail. Refunds that are due are paid within thirty (30) days of the termination date, to the original payment method where possible. Questions may be directed to billing@medspa-institute.com.
