01Prohibited Conduct
- Sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, visual, or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
- Sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
- Retaliation against any person for reporting a concern, for participating in an investigation, or for refusing to participate.
- Discrimination or harassment based on any protected characteristic above.
02Title IX Coordinator
Reports may be made directly to the Title IX Coordinator at titleix@medspa-institute.com or by mail to the Tampa campus, attention: Title IX Coordinator. The Coordinator's role is to receive reports, coordinate supportive measures, and oversee the grievance process.
03Supportive Measures
Regardless of whether a formal complaint is filed, supportive measures are available to anyone who reports a concern. Examples include schedule changes, no-contact directives, counseling referrals, and academic adjustments.
04Grievance Process
MSI follows an equitable grievance process that includes written notice to both parties, an investigation by a trained and impartial investigator, an opportunity for both parties to review the evidence, and a written determination with a right to appeal. The standard of evidence is the preponderance of the evidence.
05Confidentiality
We will respect the privacy of all parties to the extent possible while still conducting a thorough investigation and meeting our legal obligations. We will not disclose information except as needed to investigate, comply with the law, or protect the safety of the community.
