Community Guidelines

Last updated May 20, 2026

MSI is a small, mission-driven school. Our student community — including comments, DMs, cohort channels, and live events — runs on a single principle: treat each other the way you'd want to be treated by a colleague in a clinical setting.

01Be Professional

  • Use the name you go by professionally. Pseudonyms are fine if staff knows who you are.
  • Share work that's your own. Credit faculty, classmates, and outside sources when you reference their material.
  • Keep client-facing language clinically accurate and appropriate for a future regulator to read.

02Be Kind

  • No harassment, discrimination, slurs, or personal attacks of any kind. This includes "jokes" at the expense of a classmate, instructor, or client demographic.
  • Disagreement is welcome — disagreement is how we learn. Contempt is not.
  • When you give feedback on someone's work, focus on the work, not the person.

03Protect Privacy

  • Do not share photos or videos of classmates, clients, or models without explicit consent (see our Photo Release).
  • Do not record live sessions or share recordings outside the platform.
  • Do not post personal contact information of anyone other than yourself.

04No Sales, No Spam

Self-promotion threads in designated channels are fine. Mass DMs, lead-magnet pitches, MLM recruiting, and unsolicited cross-promotion are not.

05Enforcement

Violations are reviewed by student services. Depending on severity, consequences range from a private warning, to a temporary suspension from the community, to removal from the program with no tuition refund and possible reporting to regulators. We prioritize student safety over politeness.

06Reporting

Email safety@medspa-institute.com or message any faculty or staff member. Reports are confidential. Retaliation against a reporter is itself a violation.
