Where we stand, in public.
MSI is a fully licensed Florida postsecondary institution. Institutional accreditation through NACCAS is a multi-year process — here's exactly where we are.
State licensure (granted)
MedSpa Institute is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education, under license #12816 for our Tampa campus and #12817 for our Miami campus. Additional information regarding this institution may be obtained by contacting the Commission at 325 West Gaines Street, Suite 1414, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0400, toll-free 888-224-6684.
Graduates of the 220-hour Facial Specialist Program are eligible to sit for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Facial Specialist licensing exam.
NACCAS accreditation (in pursuit)
MSI is actively pursuing institutional accreditation through the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). Initial accreditation requires a minimum of two years of consecutive operating history, a comprehensive self-study, and an on-site evaluation. Until accreditation is granted, MSI is not federally Title IV (financial aid) eligible, and we are transparent about that during admissions.
